Public presentation – Paris Friday April 9th 2010
Friday April 9th was a very productive day for the Media & Citizenship project. In the morning the statistical results of the media survey and diary and the various national focus groups results were presented to the advisory board members of the project. The project team gratefully received some valuable comments on the results and for the next stages of the project.
In the afternoon a public presentation was held were project leader Christina Slade presented an overview of the project followed by Renate Möller who presented the media survey and diary results. Chamia Ghanjaoui presented the results of the French focus groups and Myria Georgiou gave a transnational overview of the focus group research in London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Madrid and Nicosia. Afterwards there was a discussion with the attendees present. Besides the project members there was a journalist form Al Jazeera and from the independant and various people from Paris 3, Paris 13 and Paris 8 universities.
French partners Chamia Ghanjaoui and Fayçal Najab and Christina Slade were interviewed by Daboussi Abdelmajid for Radio Soleil and by Nadia Bey for Radio Orient (see photograph underneath).

April 8 and 9 2010, consortium meeting and public presentation in Paris
The Media & Citizenship partners will come together on Thursday April 8 in Paris hosted by Dr Fayçal Najab, Maître de conférences of Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3, Président de l’Association Française de Psycho-linguistique and Dr Chamia Ghanjaoui, Docteur en Anthropologie of Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3. On Friday April 9 the advisory board members of the project will join the team for a morning session. In the afternoon there will be a presentation where various results are presented to the public.
